? Good value for what we paid. Time of year was not good as the hotel was literally “full” of rowdy, drunken (I guess) students ( looked like the typical drunken Aussie slobs ). I would suggest they be warned once then evicted; the word would soon get around. Bed was fairly hard, but serviceable. Location very convenient for our requirements.

We were given double rooms with 2 beds pushed together, this is not a double bed.Our rooms had no walls in the bathroom and would continually have rats in there

there no standard room available so paid for luxury, it said there was tea and coffee facilities in the room but there was not, i enquired and was told that the room was booked too late, and i still paid the higher price.very upset with this..

The Champlung Mas Hotel was OK however I would not stay there again as I feel even though it is reasonably priced it is in desperate need of a make-over. They need not even spend too much money just a coat of paint and a few changes would make the hotel a lot more enjoyable. The price they charge for internet access is unreal considering you are in a horrible room with very little atmosphere and there is reasonably priced access just over the street. Come on guys it's 2008 where is WIFI?

We found the facilities and room at the Champlung Mas Hotel in Bali to be clean and in good repair. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to the few minor problems we encountered -- i.e., water pressure which at times was non-existant (NO water flow at all) which was promptly restored as well as the electrical/fuses which I blew out while using my hair-dryer, by their responsive service personnel. The location ws ideal very near Kuta Beach with LOTS of shopping/eateries along the way and the price was outstanding. The flight from San Diego, California, USA to Bali is LONG so our return to the area is doubtful, but SHOULD we return the Champlung mas Hotel would be OUR choice -- What is better than vacationing in paradise?

I have stayed at C.Mas approx 7 times since 2001 and I was very disappointed that the standard and conditition of the property has dropped noticeably.I stopped in to confirm my booking and they were unaware I had a reservation.Being a regular guest, I expected a room that was not tucked away in the futhermost corner of the property. The toilet was leaking around the base,the bath was dirty and did not cleaned properly for our entire stay {14 nights}, air cond. didn't work at all the first night, Both toilet and air cond were repaired, but the later dripped water on the furniture / floor, so I used two containers to catch the dripping water {at least 6 litres daily} Sorry to complain but it really was not acceptable as the room rate increases every year so I expect the hotel to be well maintained.

Champlung Mas hotel far exceeded all my expectations(after all 27u.s a night isn't much), I had a very relaxing stay. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Everything you need to enjoy your stay in Bali is located immediately around the hotel. thank you Champlung, and ill definatly be staying there again.

A little expensive compared to some other hotels which had at least come cable TV channels, and free supply of drinking water. Also lack of furniture on the patio for the rooms on second floor (nothing to dry beach towels or sarongs). The location is however excellent.
