An excellent hotel slightly removed from the hustle of Kuta. Perfect for those seeking easy access to the beach and restaurants with less hassle. I would stay at Alum Kul Kul again.

Sand on floor, many mosquitos. Breakfast orders were missed 3 out of 4 days. Waited on dinner, initial room was so far away, we paid extra to upgrade and get control of mosquitos. Price was a bit on the heavy side for the quality.

Overall , my wife and I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the crowded part. But its a long walk to the shopping areas, etc. The room we had was clean and big but did not have much of a view but was otherwise OK. The toilet was a little cramped though. The lobbies, pathways, etc were clean and well maintained. There is a "classy" feel about the place.

However on our arrival, I was told that our reservation had been cancelled a few days before our arrival. This was upsetting as our arrival was after midnight after being stuck in traffic for over an hour and half. They were very good and found us a room until they couyld settle us in properly next day

Mattress on the bed could be firmer and the shower head need to be upgraded. The hotel security is excellent. Make you feel staying at a safe place.

Set between two construction sites but we were lucky to be away from the noise. Bathroom did not have a great smell. We needed to keep the door closed and cover the open drains. Close to the beach which was nice and some great dining on site.

The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast - looking out over the ocean and food is great – we ate there everyday. The hotel had a cocktail party one night and we thought that this was a very nice idea – we got to meet a lot of nice guests too.
We had a problem with our bill at the end when we got charged for breakfast even though we didn’t ask for it to be included in the room rate. The issue was that it took a long time for them to fix the problem and their conflict management skills were not very good which made us frustrated
It was probably a bit too far out of the way for us (we prefer to be closer) however still nice.
