Our stay at Hotel Tjampuhan has been simply delightful. The atmosphere was very relaxing with the surrounding nature and the staff was great, smiling and very helpful.
The only discordant factor would be that we always had to ask for coffee spoons or juice glasses at the breakfast buffet.

This was our third stay at hotel Tjampuhan. We love it. Some of the rooms are getting old - but renovation are in full swing to rectify that. We loved the new bar and internet cafe. The location suites us perfectly - just far enough away from the centre to escape but easily walkable. And so close to Murni's Warung.

My parent finds the steps difficult to walk especially there are no side railings or handle to hold while climbing up & down
moving from hotel room to lobby. The path to hotel rooms are not lighted bright enough for edlerly people to see. Too dim and
a short pathway stretch was without any lightings.

The garden and main pool are wonderful.
The nearby Tjampuhan temple is quite interesting. Unfortunately the access isn’t perfect (too dirty).
Service was kind enough but could be improved (faster luggage service). Also prices proposed for a rental car were amazingly expensive.
A full air-condition, a bed insect net and a good room entrance door would be a must.

This was a great hotel and we really enjoyed staying here. The spa is amazing and really good value. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would most certainly stay here again, probably for longer (we only stayed 3 nights)

Hotel a little far from centre of town. Some of the bungalows (the one I was given when I first arrived) are very far from the hotel pool and dining room. Would be good to discuss this with the person who is checking in as to where there bungalow is located.

The hotel was in good location and very nice place to relax after several days visiting the Gilis. However right after we arrived, we had to move to different room because the toilet was not working. The waiting for new room was quite awhile and since we just took an 8 hours trip from Lombok with two babies, it was quite discomforting.
The last day was also not too pleasing since the hot water was not working at all for the whole day. The maintainance guy only told that to wait one hour each time we complained. We ended up had to take a bath in different room. They did offered us to move to another room.. again, but we declined.
We did not use other facilities, but it did look nice especially the spa area. It is the plumbing that they need to look after due to the old age of the hotel.

We absolutely loved it and were blown away just by how gorgeous the hotel was. Photos on the internet just don't do it justice. It is so peaceful and the accomodation was great. It really has class and was great value for money.

We had a great experience at Hotel Tjampuhan and Spa. It is a gorgeous setting and everything was beyond satisfactory. Hotel Tjampuhan was highly recommended to us by a friend who stayed there years before. And later we found out another friend had stayed there almost 20 years before! She also remembered it fondly. We enjoyed our stay here much more than at other resorts, it was one of the highlights of our long trip.

A truly memorable hotel! Incredible setting, wonderful spa with intricately ornate sculptures and carvings, peaceful spring fed pool. I had a large room, 1/2 of a duplex cottage, without air conditioning, 2 walls w/ large screened windows and ceiling fan, thatched roof, and private patio. I was comfortable at night. Room was cleaned daily. I ordered dinner served on my patio and service was rapid. No TV. The vegetation- frangipani trees- fragrant and beautiful. WiFi was free in the restaurant and lobby. Buffet breakfast was included and good variety. Free shuttle service to the Monkey Forest and Palace. The staff was eager to fulfill any needs. Cottages are dispersed along the cliffs over the river. Only negative - lots of steps, and all different sized - not good for those with knee problems. If you want an unforgettable experience, not just another drab box of a hotel stay at Hotel Tjampuhan.

The room that we stayed for two night probably need some refurbishments especially the bathroom. It's a shame to be in a beautiful place, yet one or two things there are not in harmony with the rest.

I would be happy to comment on my stay at Hotel Tjampuhan... It was a fabulous facility and I loved the people there!except that I know accommodation can be acquired for much less in Bali so a 9 for value and the hotel is in a lovely setting, though off the beaten track a bit (though this is managed easily with the shuttle service.) Overall, the hotel was divine and I have recommended it to several people already!
